I keep quite a few colors of bridle on hand (from Wickett and Craig) but their Tan (or Honey, as I like to call it) is probably my favorite. The colour is just so deep and vibrant. The finish on the leather gives a bit of shine without being too glossy.
Like all of their leather, Wickett and Craig only uses the most beautiful clean hides and it truly shows in the finished product. There are virtually no marks on the surface from bug bites, scratches, brands, etc.
I tried a number of different options for thin leather, but a lot of them were just too soft to work with consistently. Even when split down this thin, it keeps so much of its strength and doesn't become floppy or stretchy. It's a dream to work with this stuff!
